Setting Up Your MetaMask Wallet

1. Get Started:

Click on the "Get Started" button on the MetaMask welcome page.

2. Create a New Wallet:

Select the option to create a new wallet. If you already have a MetaMask wallet and wish to import it, you can choose the "Import Wallet" option instead.

3. Agree to Terms:

Read through the terms of use and privacy policy, then click "I Agree" to proceed.

4. Create a Password:

Set up a strong password for your MetaMask wallet. This password will be used to unlock MetaMask on your device. Make sure it is unique and secure.

5. Backup Your Secret Recovery Phrase:

MetaMask will generate a 12-word secret recovery phrase. Write down this phrase in the exact order it is presented. This phrase is crucial for recovering your wallet if you forget your password or need to restore your wallet on a new device. Store it in a safe place and never share it with anyone.

6. Confirm Your Secret Recovery Phrase:

MetaMask will ask you to confirm your secret recovery phrase by selecting the words in the correct order. This ensures that you have accurately recorded the phrase.

7. Complete Setup:

Once you have confirmed your secret recovery phrase, click "All Done" to finish setting up your MetaMask wallet.
